Mrs. G. W. Cornelison

Isadora Luella Imes was born March 2, 1858 in Berua county, Illinois, and passed away at her home near Lorimor, July 28, 1935, aged 77 years, 4 months and 26 days.

With her parents, William H. and Lavina Imes she moved to Iowa at the age of 8 years, where she grew to womanhood. On October 12, 1878 she was united in marriage with George W. Cornellson. To this union were born three daughters, Delia, Eva and Myrtle. Proceeding her in death were daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Foreman, February 7, 1931 and Mrs. Delia Edwards, September 3, 1934, and one grandson, Herbert Edwards March 28, 1935.

She joined the Christian church at Kasson thirty years ago.

Those who remain to mourn her loss are the husband, George W. Cornelison, daughter Mrs. Eva Livingston, two sisters, Mrs. Retta Bertholf of Dumont, and Mrs. W. H. Cookus, Ottawa, Kansas, one brother, W. Harmon Imes, Tulsa, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the home Tuesday afternoon, July 30 by Lester D. Strubhar of Murray and burial was made in the Lorimor cemetery.

Pall bearers were Clarence and George W. Livingston, Forest and George F. Edwards, Dale Foreman and James Van Rossum.

Those from a distance who attended the funeral were her brother, W. H. Imes, and Mrs. Imes of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Johnson, Marcella and Edward of Dumont; Mr. and Mrs. James Rhone of Maxwell; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Foreman, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rhone, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rhone and three daughters and Mrs. Mary Klingensmith, all of Des Moines.
