Jerry Dillinger, 37, of Lorimor, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Iowa City.
A visitation with his family present will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset. Memorials may be directed to the family and online condolences may be left at ochiltree.com.
Jerry Ray Dillinger, son of Dick and Raedene Dillinger, was born February 25, 1978 in Creston, Iowa. He worked most of his working career in the advertising industry, most recently as an advertising representative for AdsRUs in Des Moines. Jerry loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, fishing and swimming. He was also a good cook and baker. Above all else, he loved his family and cherished time with them.
Jerry is survived by his parents, Dick and Raedene Dillinger of Lorimor; three siblings, Jennifer (Kelly) Hartley of Thayer, Jeff (Christina) Dillinger of Essex, and Jessica Jackson (Brad Knudsen) of Carlisle; grandparents, Richard and Lois Dillinger of Peru and Johnetta Horner of Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Terry Lee Dillinger; and grandfather, Raymond Timmerman.
