FRANK BEARD BURIED HERE LAST SATURDAY

Former Local Resident Died Nov. 26, at Kansas City, Kansas

Frank Beard, whose early life was spent in this community, died Wednesday, Nov. 26th at the University hospital in Kansas City, Kan., following a severe heart attack. He was 48 years of age, and had been in ill health for some time.

Mr. Beard was the son of William and Eliza Beard, and was born in Winterset, Oct. 12, 1899. He was married July 16, 1926, to Betty Garnette, who survives him.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two brothers, John and Clyde Beard of Winterset; and
three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Heddleson of Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Pearl Keath of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Ruth DeBord of Winterset.

Funeral services were held last Saturday from the Anderson home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. G. L. Hufstader, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
