Louis E. Harrell, a native of Madison county, was killed Sunday when the tractor he was operating overturned on him at his farm near Blakesburg. He was 61 years of age.

Mr. Harrell was a son of. Mr. and Mrs. Lutie Harrell of Madison county. He lived here until entering the U. S. Navy for service in World War I. After the war he lived in Creston for many years before moving to Blakesburg.

He is survived by his wife; and two brothers, Ben and Cliff Harrell, both of Winterset.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday morning at, Blakesburg, with graveside services and burial at Creston.
