Private Services For Paul Siebers

Private services were held at the Gail Leeper Funeral Home and graveside services at Penn Center on September 12 at 2:00 p.m. for Paul T. Siebers. Rev. Robert Williams, pastor of Dexter-Penn Center Methodist churches conducted the services. Interment was in the Penn Center cemetery.

Final rites were conducted Wednesday afternoon for Paul T. Siebers, former resident of Arvada, who died at Leadville, Colorado, July 25. Death was attributed to a heart attack, which occurred while he was fishing. Services held at 2:00 p.m. at Albers Funeral Home, were conducted by Highland Commandery No. 30, Knights Templar and the body was taken to the Tower of Memories.

Paul T. Siebers was born September 19, 1884 in Denver. He and his wife, Carolyn, lived in the Arvada, Wheatridge area for 25 years. He was a retired combustion engineer and ran a poultry farm. During World War II he was employed as an engineer for five years at the Rocky Mountain Arsenol in Denver.

The Siebers moved to Elroy, Arizona to make their home seven years ago, and spent their summers in their mountain home near Leadville, Colorado.

He was Past Patron of the Desert Flower Chapter No. 45, Order of the Eastern Star of Elroy, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Casper, The Royal Arch of Golden, The Knight’s Templer and El Zebel Shrine in Denver. Of major interest to him was the Crippled Children’s Hospital of the El Zebel Shrine in Denver and friends wishing to do so may send contributions in his memory to the hospital.

Survivors include his wife, two children: Sethryn Hodges, Elroy, Arizona, and Thora Bayes, Yuba City, California; three sisters, Minnie Arler, Cleveland, Ohio; Clara Hutchinson, Conifer, Colorado; Augusta Motch of Amarillo Texas and one brother, Hugh Siebers of Denver, Colorado. There are also seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.---------------Arvada, Colorado, Enterprise
