Roger Morrison, 57, of Dexter passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 P.M. on Sunday, November 29th at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Earlham. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, November 30th at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Earlham. Burial will be at South Oak Grove Cemetery in Stuart. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Roger Morrison Memorial Fund and sent in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home, PO Box 246, Stuart, IA 50250. Roger was born on July 20, 1958 to Robert and Shirley (Reimers) Morrison in Winterset, Iowa. He grew up in Earlham and attended Earlham Schools. Roger worked for 19 years as a Foreman at Chicago Bridge and Iron. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union. In his spare time he worked as a handyman working every moment he could to have a farm and horses for the grandkids.

Roger enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR races and cheering on the Packers. Most important to Roger was spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cindy; brother-in-law, Matt Combs; and uncle, Donnie Moore.

Roger leaves behind his children, Candie (Joshua) Kingery, Ryan (Heather) Morrison, Bryant Lee (Meaka) Morrison; honorary sons, Daniel Underwood and Isaac Norton; seven siblings; grandchildren, Ryleigh, Arianna, Atreyu and a host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
