Dorothy Anderson Bricker, daughter of W. C. and Alice Anderson, was born May 19, 1896 and passed away April 17, after a long illness.

She was united in marriage to Walter Bricker, April 11, 1916. To this union was born one daughter, Lela who is now residing in Adel.

Dorothy lived most of her life in Madison county, her former home being in the Fairview community, until their retirement to Adel, Iowa. She was a member of the Fairview Methodist church and later transferred her membership to the Methodist church in Adel.

A loving wife and devoted mother, she leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Walter; a daughter, Lela and son-in-law, Merle Haselhuhn; also one brother, Roscoe Anderson of Phoenix, Arizona; and four sisters: Una Patmor of Santa Ana, California; Alma Werts of Winterset; Enola Smith of Los Angeles, California and Alice Holden of Bluejacket, Oklahoma.

In addition to her immediate family she leaves many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
