Funeral services for A. Ralph Croft were held Tuesday, March 17, at Dunn’s Funeral Home at Des Moines. Mr. Croft was born October 3, 1892 at Earlham, the oldest son of William C. Croft and Minnie Bridges Croft. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert L. and Boyd.
He was baptized when a small child into the Christian Church at De Soto. With the family he spent his boyhood and early manhood on a farm near Earlham and received his education in the Earlham schools.
Mr. Croft was united in marriage in June 1918 to Beulah B. Bilderback.
He was a veteran of World War I, receiving his discharge in September 1919.
He worked in the barber profession in Des Moines for nearly 40 years, and retired in July 1958.
Besides his wife Beulah, Mr. Croft is survived by a brother, Arthur M. Croft of Bricelyn, Minnesota.
Interment was in the Earlham cemetery.
