Word came to friends last week of the death of Minnie Ogburn, daughter of the late Merritt Ogburn on June 20. No details were given of her death, other than she left her husband and small child. We failed to learn her husband's name or where they lived.

June 1936Mrs. Walter Baker, resident of the community northwest of town, passed away suddenly at her home Saturday morning. Funeral services were conducted at the Alfalfa Baptist church at 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon by Rev. J. C. Deering, former pastor, and interment was made in the Alfalfa cemetery.
Minnie A. Ozburn was born June 30, 1909 in Madison county, Iowa. She spent her early childhood in Iowa. After the death of her father she came to Oklahoma to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Maude Beall. She was married to Walter Baker October 16, 1933. To this union a son, William Taylor, was born. She was converted three years ago and became a member of the Alfalfa Baptist church and remained faithful until her death at the age of 26 years, 11 months and 20 days.
She leaves to mourn her death her husband and little son, three sisters and six brothers besides other relatives and many friends.
