Prof. & Mrs. J. W. Miller of Lucas, la., whose 4 months old babe died on the 11th had made preparations for burial at this place the following Monday, but was necessarily abandoned because of the inability to reach this place. These sorrowing parents while residents of this place, buried a child and it was their desire to have their darlings occupy graves side by side. The family have a host of friends here, who have extended to them a full measure of sincere sympathy.
