The funeral of Bert Leinard, which was to have occurred last Sunday did not take place until Tuesday. The remains were shipped from Tingley and on account of the snow blockade on the Great Western did not arrive in Hanley until Monday, where they were met by the family from here accompanied by two loads of shovelers who made it possible for the party to reach here during the afternoon.
