Trudy Rae (Hirsch) Duncan, age 68, of Elkland, Missouri, formerly of Earlham and Des Moines passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015, at home. She was born March 15, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa. Trudy was the daughter of Walter Raymond Hirsch and Lena Grace (Brown) Hirsch. She married John Duncan on February 25, 1967. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremation of the Ozarks.
Trudy graduated from Earlham High School in 1965 and earned her Bachelor's degree from Hawai'l Pacific University. She was a highly skilled cook and loved her dogs. Trudy will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Trudy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John Duncan of the home; her son, Tony Duncan of the home; her brother Mark Hirsch of Dexter; as well as her mother, Lena Hirsch of Winterset, Iowa.
