Mrs. W. S. Phillips Dies in Des Moines

Mrs. W. S. Phillips of Des Moines died at a hospital there Sunday, April 2, after a long illness. She was 61 years of age.

Mrs. Phillips was the former Rose McNamara of this community. She was born and spent her early life in Union township.

Surviving are her husband; a son, John, who is a government employee in Japan; three brothers, Eugene McNamara of Des Moines; Charles McNamara of Bella Park, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Roscoe Burch of Davenport.
