TERRY POWELL, Des Moines

Terry Powell, 52, of Des Moines died Saturday, July 18, 2015.

Private inurment was held Monday, Aug. 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Terry Powell was born April 11, 1963. He had worked for the city of Des Moines as surveyor and also helped put together Reiman Gardens in Ames.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Powell.

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Joan Hardy of Winterset; brothers, Steve Powell of Osage, Iowa and Alan (Linda) Powell of Charles City, Iowa; nephews Jeff and Kevin Powell, and other relatives.
