Chas. W. Schofield, a. former resident of this county, died at Lorimor on the morning of Decoration Day. He was a member of Winterset Camp of Modern Woodmen of America, carrying an insurance of $1,000 on his life. A number of the Woodmen went to Lorimor on Wednesday to attend the funeral which took place at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
