August 1926Ruth Elizabeth Allen Keys, daughter of Ben and Eva Allen, was born at Peru, Iowa, November 8, 1905 and passed away at the hospital at Creston, Iowa, July 30, 1926, age 20 years 8 months and 22 days.
She attended high school at Peru, Iowa and graduated with the class of 1922.
On November 26, 1924, she was united in marriage to LeRoy Keyes and moved to their grandfather Keyes farm near her parents home where they have lived so happily until she was taken ill ten weeks ago (no more genealogical informaion)
