Thomas McMichael, an old resident of Madison county, died April 8th, at the home of his niece, Mrs. Jane Hartfield, of St. Charles, of paralysis.
He formerly owned and used to live on the farm east of Patterson, where Tom Hartfield now resides. He has been an invalid for years and since his health failed, has lived with Mrs. Hartfield. He had never married and his survivors are a number of nieces and nephews.
The Rev. C. E. Carnahan conducted the funeral services at the United Presbyterian church at St. Charles, Tuesday morning, April 10th, at ten o’clock, and burial was in the Montpelier cemetery, north of Patterson.
