Mrs. Frank Stephenson, of Douglas township, became suddenly ill Sunday morning, May 20th, and died a few hours later. An infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephenson died Friday, May 18th, at the age of two days, and it was thought that the mother was recovering nicely, however, she became worse Sunday.

Mrs. Stephenson was thirty-one years of age. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Wilson, and was born in Guthrie county. Her girlhood days were spent near Panora. She was married to Mr. Stephenson in 1918 and they loved near Panora for five years. They then came to this county three years ago, on year of which was spent in Lee township, and since then, they have been in their present home on the Mrs. Eva Chase farm.

She is survived by her husband, four children, William, May, Francis and Margaret and by her parents.

Rev. A. R. Weed conducted the funeral services at the West Star church Wednesday afternoon, May 23, and burial was made in the McDonald cemetery in Douglas township.
