Marion James died at his home in Greenfield, Wednesday of this week. He will be remembered by many Winterset people, having resided here in early life and was for a number of years engaged in business in Winterset. The James homestead was what is now known as the Mallison place, east of the old Boyles farm on the Patterson road. He was a partner with Tom Ratliff in the livery business and afterwards with Geo Ratliff in the meat business.
