Amy Webb, 43, of Creston, died Monday March 30, 2015 at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.

Celebration of Life Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Powers Funeral Home junction of highway 34 & 25 in Creston. Pastor Chuck Spindler will officiate. Burial will be at Winterset City Cemetery in Winterset.

Open visitation will be noon-3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Powers Funeral Home in Creston, and later from 4 to 8 Thursday at the Creston High School Gymnasium. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Creston High School Gymnasium.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Creston Football Program or the Creston Wrestling Program.

Amy Suzanne (Welch) Webb, daughter of Connie Larayne (Neisemier) Welch and Ronald Wayne Welch, was born June 17, 1971 in Winterset, Iowa. She graduated from Winterset High School in 1989, from SWCC in 1991 and from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, in 1993.

On April 2, 1994, Amy married Kevin James Webb in Winterset. They first lived in Des Moines and then on a farm near Winterset. Amy worked as a social worker all of her adult life. She began with Progressive Options, the county home for the Winterset area. They moved to Creston in 1996. Amy then worked with Adams, Taylor & Union County Case Management. She was currently employed with Southern Hills Specialty Care of Osceola.

Amy was a member of the P.E.C. (Parent Educator Connections, through the A.E.A.) She also served as a guardian and had been a member of the Fireman's Wives.

Survivors include her husband Kevin Webb of Creston; son, Tanner Webb of Creston; her mother, Connie Welch of Orlando, Fla.; one brother, Travis (wife Dyan) Welch of Orlando, Fla.; two nieces, Madisyn & Morgyn Welch; father and mother-in-law, Jim & Sandy Webb of Creston; a sister-in-law Deb Webb of Des Moines; and numerous other family and many friends.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie "RWW" Welch in 2006 and her grandparents, Wayne & Blanche Welch, Fred & Trudy Neisemier, Weldon & Mildred Webb and Lee & Ardelle Slorah.
