Rhoda E. McDonald Creger was born in Belle Fountain, Ohio, June 22, 1841 and died in Truro Feb 1, 1916.

She moved to Ft. Wayne, Indiana when 17 years of age and two years later to Illinois and at the outbreak of the Civil War to Iowa county in Iowa.

On November 16, 1862 married James McQuaid at Marengo, Iowa. To this union, one son was born, C. W. now of Des Moines. In 1870 with husband moved to Ponca City, Nebraska. He died in 1892. She then married Joseph H. Creger on Oct. 23, 1904.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Milton Archer of Truro and her son.
