Uncle William Barnett, of Earlham, after a long & painful sickness, departed this life Aug.16th.

Uncle Billy, as he was familiarly called, was an old settler of our country & was very highly esteemed by all who knew him.

Nine sons & three daughters, with a number of grandchildren, were among the mourners.
