Martha Ellen (Holmes) Bradshaw, born in Tuscarawas county, Ohio, Nov. 19, 1851, and died at Truro, Jan 31, 1915. Came with parents to Van Buren county in 1854 and 3 years later to Madison county.

She married D. F. Bradshaw, Dec. 1871, and 4 children were born to this union, Bennie & Jessie who died in infancy and Charles L. & Dawson survive. Also 2 brothers, Archiband & James Holmes and 1 sister, Mary A. Hiatt.

Truro News

Mrs. Ellen Bradshaw died at her home last Sunday evening after an illness of over seven months. Mrs. Bradshaw was an old resident of this county , and the family have the sympathy of all in their bereavement. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday morning and interment was made in the Hartman Cemetery.
