Eleanor Augusta Noack passed away Wednesday, March 18th at her home.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Van Meter with burial at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call after Noon Sunday, March 22 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel where family will greet friends from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Eleanor was born February 8, 1926 at the family home near Van Meter to Arthur Carl Jensen and Emma Eleanor (Marquardt) Jensen.
On March 6, 1948 she was married to Donald Paul Noack. To this union were born three children: Pat (Ron) Baughman, Tom Noack and Ann (Paul) Nagel. Donald and Eleanor farmed most of their life until they retired and moved to the Lodge of Ashworth in West Des Moines.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Donald; parents; sisters, Pauline and Vera and brother, Walter.
She leaves to mourn her passing her three children, Pat, Tom, and Ann; 10 grandchildren, Mark Baughman, Amy Gentles, Tammy Yarbrough, Brad Noack, Allison Derby, Danielle Noack, Matthew Nagel, Joshua Nagel, Ben Nagel and Ashley Nagel ; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Gentles, Luke Gentles, Giselle Baughman, Jacob Baughman and one unborn great grandson. She also leaves one sister in law, Dorothy Jensen; nephew, Alan Jensen, and four nieces, Marlene Zee, Mary Wolfe, Rhonda Jensen and Madonna Jaeger. Eleanor also leaves her family of the Lodge of Ashworth and many other friends.
Eleanor was baptized at Trinity Lutheran, confirmed at Trinity, married at Trinity, and today she leaves the blessed Trinity to rest in its shadow for eternity.
