Mrs. Will Harlan died at her home in the north part of the city Tuesday evening, the funeral taking place Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Harlan was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. K. Young. She had been afflicted with dropsy for several years.

She leaves but one son, Earl Harlan who is employed at the brick and tile factory.

Obituary

Cassandra, wife of W. E. Harlan, was born Dec. 12th, 1865, and died Dec. 31st, 1907, being forty-two years and nineteen days old at the time of her death, which was caused from dropsy, her illness lasting about ten months.

She leaves a husband and son, her mother, Mrs. Mary Young, three brothers and three sisters. All are residents of Winterset, except one sister, who now lives in Missouri.

Funeral services were held at the home of her mother, conducted by Elder Piper, of the Adventist church. Interment was at the Rock City cemetery, where they weary are at rest.
