Floyd Strong Drowned in New Orleans, June 7

Floyd James Strong, seaman second class, son of the late Elvie Strong of Stuart, drowned June 7th in line of duty at New Orleans, La. He was buried at the Penn Center cemetery on June 14.

He was buried with military honors with the services being held at the Christian Church at Stuart.

He is survived by his wife Pauline and two children, James, age 5, and Donna, age 3.
