Died on January 16th, 1894, Mrs. W. A. McDaniel at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Jennie Ballard, Ashton, Clark county, Mo., at the ripe age of 85 years, 8 months, and 5 days.

Mrs. McDaniel will be remembered by many Winterset and Madison county friends, having made her home for several years with her son, Jesse McDaniel, at that time a dry goods merchant in this city, but now in Washington, D. C. connected with the Untied States Fish Commission.
