Old Mrs. Harlan died last Thursday night. She had long been an invalid and death in her case was a release from suffering.

Mrs. Harlan, one of the oldest residents of this town, died at her home in the west part of the town last week. She was quite an aged lady and was unable to withstand, in her feeble condition, the insidious attacks of the grip. Her sons, Will and John are the only children she has living in Winterset.
