Florence Roseman was born in Madison County, Iowa, April 17, 1865 and died in Desoto, Iowa, January 24, 1907 at the age of 41 years, 09 months and 7 days.

She was married to Annon James October 1, 1891 and to this union was born Myrtle Ferne, who with the husband, survive her.

Her father, three brothers and one sister also survive her and the mother, two sisters and one brother have preceded her in death.

She was converted and joined the Methodist church at the age of 12 years and has continued a member since. In the hour of death her experience and testimony was clear and definite and her confidence in God firm.

The funeral was conducted at the Methodist church in Desoto by Rev. Watkins and the remains were interred at Earlham.
