“An Other Old Citizen Gone”
Rev. H. Wissler died at his home in Webster Township, in this County on Sunday, the 3d inst., aged ninety three years, four months and nineteen days. He was born in Lancaster County, Pa., and when a young man emigrated to Ohio, where he lived till he came to this county, about twelve years ago. He was a traveling minister for several years of his life. He lived under the administration of every president the United States has had, being born in the early part of Washington’s second term.
Until recently his general health had been very good although he has been blind for several years. A number of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are among our most exemplary citizens.
