Friends received word from Fremont, Nebr., Sunday of the death of Mrs. Sarah McDonald, former resident of Earlham some ten years ago. Mrs. McDonald was seventy-three years old at the time of her death. She had made her home with her daughter Mrs. Alpha Hawkins for a number of years at Fremont, Nebr.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Fremont, after which the body was brought to Madison County for burial in the McDonald cemetery in Douglas township.

FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN NEBRASKA

Mrs. Sarah McDonald, widow of Malcolm McDonald, former residents of Douglas township many years, died suddenly Sunday afternoon at her home in Fremont, Nebraska. She had been in apparently good health and no details have been learned of her sudden demise. She was about 70 years old.

Services were held at 9:30 Wednesday morning in Fremont and burial was made that afternoon in the McDonald cemetery in Douglas township.

A daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Hawkins of Fremont, and a son, Samuel McDonald, survive.
