Bonnie Rhea Allen, daughter of John Harrison Linsley and Fern Marie (Brenton) Linsley was born July 25, 1928 in Perry, Iowa and passed from this life Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa at 86 years of age.

Bonnie attended a country school near Lorimor and graduated from Truro High School. She then went on to SWCC for her nurse training where she received her LPN and then later RN. She spent most of her working years in the medical field.

June 14, 1946, Bonnie was united in marriage to Bernard L. Allen at Leon, Iowa. Bonnie enjoyed many hours playing the organ at home and also for the Murray United Methodist Church. She belonged to the MUMW group.

In 1999 she received a card showing she had held a membership in the Order of Eastern Star for 50 years with the Grand Chapter of Iowa. She was very proud of this accomplishment.

Those relatives who preceded Bonnie in death were her parents; husband, Bernard L. Allen; 2 brothers; 1 brother-in-law; 1 sister; and 2 sisters-in-law.

Bonnie leaves to cherish her memory; brother, Rex Linsley of Greenfield, IN; sister-in-law, Marjorie Linsley of Indianola, IA; many nieces, nephews as well as other relatives and many friends.
