Betty Jo Hogancamp was born to William Everett and Myrtie Mae (Haneline) Hogancamp on May 10, 1930 in Bardwell, Kentucky. She received her education in Bardwell and graduated from Bardwell High School in 1948. Following high school she married Robert L. Brown and to this union four children were born. Later Betty moved to Winterset to be near her daughter and that is when she met Dean Molln and the couple were married on August 7, 1993.

Betty was a homemaker, raising her four children and to help make ends meet she was a seamstress working out of her home. Later she worked as a medical assistant for her brother, Dr. Glenn Hogancamp.

She was a good provider to her family for many years as she was a single mother and they lovingly remember her as a good cook and baker as well as gardener. In addition to sewing, she crocheted, enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading, doing cross words and writing poetry. All this said, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her husband, Dean Molln of Winterset; her four children, Steve (Kathy) Brown of Pontoon Beach, IL; Bob (Tuni) Brown of Ballwin, MO; Miranda (John) Litzsinger of Republic, MO; Debbie Broeker of Winterset; three step-children, Joyce (Don) Chamberlin of Davenport; Larry (Shelley) Molln of Winterset; Randy (Beth) Molln of Des Moines; siblings, Dr. Glenn (Ann) Hogancamp of Ballwin, MO; Mary Sue (Bill) Martinie of Bardwell, KY; 23 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Novie Hogancamp, Marion Hogancamp, Walter Hogancamp, Lorene Spillmen, James Hogancamp, Charles Hogencamp and Bonnie Owens.
