Joy came to the hearts of Thomas and Jennie Thomson on December 2nd, 1921, when was born to them a son, Thomas Ian, but for only two short days did he tarry in their home and sorrow came to them on December fourth, when he left their home for one that knows no sin or suffering.

A short funeral service was held from the John Urquhart home on December 5th, conducted by Rev. Chas. Lescault. Burial was in Earlham cemetery.
