Mrs. J. Q. Mackey passed away at her home west of town, Saturday, after an illness of ten months from heart and lung trouble. The funeral was held at the home Monday afternoon.

Miss Laura Gray came up from Simpson to attend the funeral of her aunt, Mrs. Mackey.
