Elsie, the little three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Rogers, died at one o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the home three miles northeast of Macksburg. She was Mr. Roger’s youngest child and was sick about a week. Elsie was a bright little girl and will be sadly missed in the home.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. C. E. Trueblood of Macksburg at the residence at ten o’clock a.m. today (Thursday) and the body laid to rest in the Winterset cemetery.
