Robert "Bob" Lose passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014. Bob was born on January 19, 1968 in Des Moines to John Sr. and Joan (D'Arcy) Lose.
Bob enjoyed ice skating, hockey, fishing and spending time with his family, those here and on the East Coast.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Pat Lose, Nora Lee (Ed) Witt, Joe Lose, John Lose Jr., Mary Alice (Paul) Monroe, Steven (Missy) Lose and Mike (Janet) Lose; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2566 Scotch Ridge Road in Carlisle. Burial will follow the mass at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Cumming, Iowa. Family will greet visitors from 4 to 8 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Vincent De Paul or Central Iowa Food Bank.
