Uly Griffith of Van Meter, died Sunday at the hospital in Des Moines, where he underwent an operation for appendicitis. He is a son of Mr. Griffith of this neighborhood.

U. L. Griffith of Van Meter, but well known here, died Sunday in Des Moines. Mr. Griffith has been in implement dealer in Van Meter for a long time and was well known and liked in this vicinity.
