REEL--Died. Charles W. Reel, aged 51 years, January 13 at Creston, Ia., of pneumonia.

His widow and five children mourn his death: Myrtle Reel of Creston, Mrs. Nellie Mane, John and Elsie Reel of this city. Willie Reel of Swan. Mr. Reel was a brother of Mrs. J. P. Fuller of this city. Mrs. Ella Deckard of Chicago, Z. T. and A. R. Reel of Oskaloosa. Mr. Reel served in the civil war as a member of Company H of one of the Regiments.

Note by transcriber: Charles W. Reel served in Company H, 11th Missouri Cavalry. He is buried in Jerusalem Cemetery, Creston, Union County, Iowa. He resided in Winterset after the Civil War until sometime in the mid-1870s.
