Eugene "Doc" Kuhns, 67, of Earlham (formerly of the Greenfield area)

Eugene “Doc” Kuhns passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Funeral Services: Will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Greenfield with burial at the Hill of Zion Cemetery, rural Orient, Iowa.

Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Greenfield.

Memorials: To the Doc Kuhns memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Deb Kuhns of Earlham; son, Matthew Kuhns and wife Denise of Greenfield; daughter, Samantha Jensen and husband Chad of Indianola; son, Nathan Kuhns of Orient; step-daughter, Heather Snell and husband Quincy of Winterset; step-son, Brent Stanford and wife Jill of Cumming; sister, Linda Sidey of Greenfield; eleven grandchildren, Max, Mallory and Macy Kuhns, Ellie and Ty Jensen, Mila Kuhns, Ryley and Ryder Snell, and Tyler, Blake and Kayde Stanford; mother and father-in-law, Bob and Delores Luce of Murray; other relatives and friends.
