Dorothea F. Berggren, 91, of Long Lake, Minn., went home to be with the Lord Sunday, May 18, 2014.
Funeral service was held today (Wednesday, May 21) at Wayzata Evangelical Free Church, in Plymouth, Minn., with interment at Polk City Cemetery in Polk City, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family and will be distributed to Dorothea's favorite charities at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Sherry Bierma.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Paul; daughters, Nancy Hulme (Howard), Susan Tucker (John), Jane Rasmuson (Doug); six grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers, Ronald Bierma (Marsha) and Clyde Bierma as well as other loving relatives and friends.
