Death of James Roy

Mrs. Charles Beeler received a telegram on Tuesday evening, announcing the death of her brother, James Roy, at Alberquerque, New Mexico, where he had been living several years on account of his health. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Roy, his sister Miss Edna and brother, William were with him. Death came from the effects of an abscessed lung, and his strength had been gradually failing for several weeks. Six years ago, Mr. Roy left Winterset for New Mexico and his parents went south to care for him. Burial will take place in Alberquerque.

Douglas Roy is reported as being better of late.

The loss of this young man, who has fought so long and valiantly for his health will being sorrow to all of his old acquaintances and to the many friends of the Roy family.
