Page 8Across the Line
Death has taken its toll across the line in Warren county the past two weeks, pneumonia being the agent in almost all the cases. Mrs. Arthur Dunn and infant babe and her brother, Wick Monroe, and Mrs. Crawford were buried the first of last week. Gus Bell and cousin, George Bell were buried in St. Patrick’s cemetery. Both were young men and leave families.
Mrs. Shea, an aged woman, died at the home of her daughter near Albia, and the body was brought here for burial. Last Sunday the thirteen months old child of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Wise was buried at the Wick cemetery and Monday, Mrs. Margaret Walsh, aged 89, was buried at St. Patrick’s cemetery. Services were conducted at Churchville by her pastor, Rev. Condon.
