Earlham Echo – Earlham, Iowa
January 6, 1921

Minnie Ethel White was born at Dexter, Iowa, Sept. 8th, 1875 and died at Earlham Dec. 20, 1920, aged 45 years, 3 months, 21 days.

On Jan. 28, 1904 she was united in marriage to P. H. Parsons. They began housekeeping in Jasper Co., and six years ago, moved to their late home near Earlham. To this union were born two children, a son and a daughter, who with the husband remain to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and mother.

She was much in love with her home and was always found caring for its duties with a free hand and a fond heart as wife and mother. She held her many neighbors in high esteem, which feeling was heartily reciprocated by them.

Besides the immediate family she leaves four sisters, Mrs. Alice Logan, of Anita, Ia., Mrs. Ada Frelburg of North Platte, Nebr., Mrs. Harvey Saunders, of Stuttgart, Ark., and Mrs. Hazel Hettinger of Anita, Ia., all of whom were present at the funeral.

Her sickness was of short duration and was not thought serious till the last day or two, when the end suddenly came.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Saturday morning at 10:30, conducted by the Pastor, Rev. Piper. The body was then taken ------------ where consigned to its last resting place in the Anita cemetery.
