R. T. Van, an old gentleman 87 years of age, was found dead in bed on last Saturday morning. Mr. Van made his home with his son, L. A. Van, who lives on the old Brownell place, in Lincoln township. He retired the evening before in his usual health and died during the night apparently from heart failure. Coroner Richards was summoned but pronounced his death to be due to natural causes.
