Eva Kenworthy, daughter of Jesse and Mary Kenworthy, was born March 16, 1867, near Earlham, Iowa. She married John L. Foster and removed to the state of Washington. She died at her home one-half mile east of Marshal Junction, Washington, on the 21st day of June 1902.

She leaves a husband, four children, one sister and three brothers, besides many relatives and friends to mourn her loss.

Evelin Kenworthy, daughter of Mary and Jesse Kenworthy, was born March 16, 1867, near Earlham, Iowa, was married to John L. Foster at Earlham, April 29, 1891, and removed to Spokane, Washington, in September, 1897, where she departed this life June 21, 1902.

She was confined to her bed but a few days and was always patient and cordial, saying “God’s Will be Done.” Those with her during her last hours besides the family were he sister Lydia Griffin of Paonia, Colorado, her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kenworthy of Bridgeport, Indiana, her cousins Elsie McClure of Spokane, Washington, Edna Wilson of Colorado Springs, and James Wilson of Earlham. She was conscious until God called her home, and to those near her she said goodbye asking them to meet her in heaven and remembering the relatives and friends here with the same words.

Short services were held at the home conducted by two Methodist ministers. Those bearing the casket to its last resting place were Bert Dennis, James Clemens, James Gowins, Wm. Overhulser, Herbert Barnett and Raymond Barnett. She was laid to rest in the Greenwood cemetery near Spokane. On her casket were many beautiful flowers, tokens of loving friends.
