Page 7Mrs. Retta Colton-Sherer died in this city on Friday night and her funeral occurred on Sunday, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Wilkinson of the Church of Christ.
This most estimable young woman grew up in this city where she has enjoyed the love and respect of all who knew her. She was a victim of consumption, which became apparent less than a year ago and her decline was unusually rapid.
The bereaved are her husband, John Sherer, a little daughter about four years of age, her mother, Mrs. Minerva Black and four sisters. Much sympathy for the afflicted is apparent.
