Died at his home in Van Meter, Michael White. Born in Cainsville, Ohio, Dec. 4, 1836, died Aug. 21, 1909 aged 72 years, 9 months and 18 days. He was converted at the age of 12 years, joined the M.E. church and lived an upright, Christian life, honored and respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife and three sons. Services were held at Fairview church, conducted by Rev. Hosier.
