Fannie Mae Pitts, daughter of Napoleon and Eliza Pitts, was born April 11, 1894, and died April 21, 1909. Her age at death was 15 years and 10 days old.

Though her life was not many years, yet her kind word and loving disposition will not be forgotten by father, mother, and two sisters. She has been a patient sufferer all her life; the last four she has gradually faded away.

She was not a member of any church, but as the end drew near said she was ready to go and was so happy.

Funeral services were held from the Friends church last Friday conducted by Rev. John Stribling. Interment in Earlham cemetery.
