Sheryll Ann Morris, daughter of Carl Sampson Weeks and Grace Doris Hill Weeks was born April 11, 1946 in Warren County, Iowa and passed from this life Saturday, March 15, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. She was sixty-seven years of age.
Sheryll received her education from Interstate 35 High School graduating in 1964. During her years there she was the FFA Chapter Sweetheart. Also during High School, Sheryll met and dated the love of her life, Myron Monty Morris. They were united in marriage April 17, 1964 and this union was blessed with three sons, Jared, Bryan and Dustin. They began their married life living on a small acreage near New Virginia and remained there while raising their family. As the boys grew older, she began working for Warren County Home Healthcare. In 1990, Sheryll began working as a Senior Services Clerk for Principal Financial in Des Moines. She remained there until her retirement in 2010.
She was a member of the Medford Ladies Aide for many years and helped with various projects. She was very involved with the care of her grandson, Dallon for many weeks throughout the year. She also enjoyed watching her grandkids playing sports, especially basketball and softball. Some of Sheryll's other interests were hummingbirds, her rock garden that was made by her brother Dick, planting flowers and feeding the various birds; and traveling to many of the figure 8 races her boys were involved in. Most of all, Sheryll enjoyed dancing and being with Monty.
Those relatives who preceded Sheryll in death were her parents; sister, Doris Ruth Weeks; brother, Dick Weeks; sister-in-law, Bonnie Weeks; brother-in-law, Dennis Ferguson; nephews, Lanny Weeks, Lonnie Weeks and Joey Morris.
Sheryll is survived by her husband, Monty of New Virginia; sons, Jared (Julie) Morris of Truro; Bryan (Crystal) Morris of St. Charles; Dustin (Brandi) Morris of Winterset; grandchildren, Mitchell & Riley Morris of St. Charles; Dayton and twins Denim and Dallon Morris all of Winterset; brothers, Wayne Weeks of New Virginia, Jim (Leona) Weeks and Bill (Sharon) Weeks all of Indianola; sisters, Shirley (Curt) Mann of New Hall and Sharon Ferguson of Altoona; sister-in-law, Janice Weeks of Des Moines as well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, two aunts, as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to The Morris family for a tribute to be decided at a later time.

Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wed. March 19, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. Visitation will be open Tuesday with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Interment will be at New Virginia Cemetery.
